Aside from financial security, we go to work to pursue rewarding careers and lead fulfilling lives. When feeling trapped in a toxic workplace, it’s nearly impossible to enjoy dreams for a future and set goals. A Place for Change

There is a path to escape from the unhealthy place of disappointment that pulls at you physically, mentally, and emotionally every day. First, nothing changes unless you recognize the need for change. If you have not taken the Work Environment Self-Reflective Exercise, that’s an easy way to see clearer. There are seven questions. Realistically, there could be 100 questions, but the seven are enough to show you how your workplace affects you.

Then, the next step is action-based. Once you recognize the situation and how it impacts you, it comes down to a fork in the road with two paths:

  1. The discomfort, fears, uncertainties, self-doubts, and self-talk have become familiar to you and you want to stay there. Or,
  2. You make a choice for change. Together, we release the false beliefs and impact of others that caused you harm.
